THE BAN ON MENTHOL IN THE UK – ONLY

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR VAPING IN THE UK...

There was no real mention of this ban that is supposed to occur on May 20, 2020 in the UK and EU. The menthol ban on vaping products mean about 1.3 million people will not be able to legally obtain the nicotine type of product that they want.

People who are trying to quit smoking and start vaping might find it difficult if they like the menthol flavor and are not allowed to vape it. I mean it’s about a 20% type of smoker that prefers menthol flavor and now they are subjected to not being allowed to vape because they must get the menthol flavor they like from cigarettes. It is a big deal to switch from smoking to vaping and you must be able to enjoy it to make it a success.

The advertising of products across the globe are happening, closing the marketing of the products because of health claims. It’s funny how they only show the downside of the vaping experiences but never the successful ones.
It might be high time that we move into a phase of using marketing and media of vaping to show the success stories.
Honestly, I know so many people who are close to me like family and just people who I’ve met on a day tell me how happy they are that they started vaping and stopped smoking. It’s sad that the misinformation coming from cancer researchers, the USA CDC, and other administrations wrongly attribute to the use of vaping.

Now with the ban in place you will see the Black Market grow for the UK. This also taints the name of vaping. People are more likely now to try and get their source of menthol on the web and shipped in for a cost, but that will lead to stores and other outlets getting in the mix of things.

We hope that despite the barriers of the public health that the vape industry in the UK can continue to help people stop smoking.
