Like all of us all over the world our concern turns to what our days now hold for futures. The uncertainty that the epidemic has dropped on us raises health concerns across the globe. While serious Covid-19 infections are more likely in the older populations, teenagers and kids are not immune to the virus. This virus is highly contagious and there is a high risk of developing pneumonia as it attacks the lungs with a severity rarely seen in any type of flu. Everything going on with this virus we have to make sure that we are nice and healthy, this includes our lungs. Smoking is known to be extremely unhealthy for our lungs, which is why vape can actually benefit people at this time. There are no extra carcinogens which are related to causing cancer. By not subjecting your lungs to the extra exposure to the chemicals and hazardous substances that can increase your risk of cancer this is a great relief. While the EVALI ( e-cigarette-or vaping-prouct-use-associated lung injury) spread a false accusation across the country in the fall of 2019 regarding deaths and illness with vaping products. In fact the EVALI had spread false information in regards to the vaping products. The details are that CBD/THC cartridges filled with a deathly amount of Vitamin E oil that if inhaled could cause long term lung problems or death. These black market cartridges cause the Vaping industry to plummet into a plethora of scandal and false accusations.
We believe during this time when health is at risk and even closer to your lungs you should look to more a more healthier alternative to smoking regular cigarettes. While smoking regular cigarettes we know show the smoke – related diseases like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease have raised the death rate for Covid-19 patients. They found that smokers have higher levels of the ACE2 enzyme that the Covid-19 uses to get into the lung cells. Having more of those entry points could make smokers more susceptible to infection.
In the end protect yourself, wash your hands, wear a mask, and think of your surroundings while you are out.
